Below are key steps to take as the CPE year comes to a close:
Surveys
To ensure your CPE transcript is correct, you MUST complete all CPE surveys in order for your credit(s) to appear on your transcript.
Transcripts
It will be the responsibility of each CPA to log in to their dashboard and download their Certificates of Completion and Transcripts, check for accuracy, and submit to the State Board of Accountancy. To do so, follow these steps:
- Log in to alabama.cpa
- Once logged in, hover over your name in the top right corner. Once the dropdown menu appears, select CPE History & Transcript under the My Learning section.
- A full collection of your completed CPE will display, with two options at the top - Print or Download CSV.
As part of our new system, and to make this reporting more efficient for our members, ASCPA has fashioned the reporting (CSV) to match the State Board of Accountancy template. Please pay close attention to the credits, ensuring all reporting is accurate and complete. Please also note that the category of “Behavioral/Personal Development” CPE has been shortened to just reflect “Personal Development,” and that moving forward CPAs are limited to 12 hours in this category each fiscal year.
Final Disclaimer
You are responsible for ensuring what is reported on this report is accurate. You are also responsible for making any edit to the personal development column for behavioral credits earned. |
