Emerging Leaders Summit

ASCPA is excited to spend the day with you at our upcoming event. As Emerging Leaders in not only your current organizations, but also in your industry, we are excited to spend the day sharing valuable insight with you on very important topics.

Throughout the day we will discuss diversity, inclusion, and what leading into the future means.

When dealing with people, awareness of difference can be a benefit, or we can make it a problem. We will cover the recognition that “diversity” includes, but can be different from, the legal aspects of Title Seven, EEO and Affirmative Action issues. The session will describe the importance and impact that “diversity” has on any environment or organization and on individual performance and productivity, what it means to be culturally competent. We will be examining ways we can work with others by examining our prejudices, differences and similarities. We will also discuss vision and what is needed to positively shape your future and how innovation plays a part in staying current, relevant, and efficient. You will be challenged to understand the importance in developing holistically as a leader. It’s our goal to assist you in becoming better at the art of working with others, all while helping you plan your next steps as a leader.
