Benefits of Chapter Involvement

The ASCPA serves your needs at a local level through its 11 chapters across Alabama.

The chapters provide educational and social events of local interest. Additionally, they provide an excellent opportunity for members to take an active role in both the society and the profession. 
Each chapter has an Advisory Council that consists of 3-8 members. The advisory councils provide a system for communication with the ASCPA leadership and they chart the course for activities their chapters engage in.

Continuing Professional Education

This gives you access to meetings, networking events, and CPE courses planned and hosted in your area.

Leadership Opportunities

Become a member of the Advisory Council within your chapter to help lead chapter activities and communicate with ACPA leadership.

Connecting with local accounting professionals

Based on where you live, you automatically become a member of your local chapter when you join USCPA.

ASCPA chapters are based on geography. We encourage you to engage with the chapter where you live or work. Each chapter organizes its own events, CPE, study groups, and social gatherings. Some chapter events are online, also giving you the opportunity to engage virtually with nearby colleagues.
