Jason Miller, CPA

Jason Miller is a Partner in the Audit and Assurance Department at Anglin Reichmann Armstrong with over 14 years of experience in public accounting. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama at Huntsville with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Accounting. As the firm’s peer review practice leader, Jason helps support and enhance the audit quality and efficiency for Anglin and the audit practice of other firms around the country. He specializes in audit and assurance services, such as audits, reviews, compilations, preparations, agreed-upon procedures, and examinations. He also provides consulting and data analytic services to non-profit, manufacturing, and other commercial entities. In addition to these services, Jason consistently researches the latest audit and assurance guidelines to better support clients in the future. Jason also plays a critical role in the firm’s research into technology, software packages, and data analytics to support clients moving forward. Jason’s industry focus includes biotechnology, employee benefit plans, government contracting, information technology, manufacturing, and not-for-profit agencies.

Jason is an Eagle Scout and has served as a board member and president for the University of Alabama in Huntsville Alumni Association. He is also a member of the Peer Review Committee for the Alabama Society of CPAs. Jason’s extensive knowledge and experience allow him to be seen as a trusted advisor to Anglin clients, helping them solve problems and reach business goals efficiently.

Missy Herbert joined Warren Averett in 2015 and is a Member in the Firm’s Audit Division. She has more than 20 years of employee benefit plan audit and consulting experience. Missy offers public and private companies plan audit knowledge combined with a strong ERISA and plan operations background. During her career, Missy has performed plan audits and consulting for over 850 different plans with plan bases ranging from 120-50,000 participants and assets from $500 thousand to $8.0 billion. She also has extensive experience auditing plans that are required to file an annual 11-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Recently, Missy authored an audit guide on how to audit employee benefit plans, entitled Knowledge-based Audits of Employee Benefit Plans. Speaking engagements for Missy include the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Annual Conference, Georgia Society Employee Benefit Plan Annual Conference, UBS Fiduciary Forum, and several regional state society employee benefit plan training conferences. Missy and her family reside in Atlanta.

Chris Rouse, CPA
Windham Brannon, P.C. / Atlanta, GA

Chris Rouse is an audit partner and the Firm Audit and Accounting Quality Control Partner at Windham Brannon, P.C., an Atlanta GA CPA firm of Approximately 75 professionals. Since 1965 Chris has practiced with Big-8 and large local firms. He has served primarily audit clients in his career, including clients in the financial services industry, manufacturing and distribution companies, service businesses, and not-for-profit entities. His service as Firm-wide A&A Partner includes helping his partners deal with new and difficult audit and accounting issues. He also provides litigation support, primarily in accountant's malpractice cases.

Chris recently finished service on the AICPA Technical Issues Committee (Auditing), and has served on the AICPA Peer Review Committee and the Technical Standards Committee (Ethics). He has also served as Team Captain on many Peer Reviews, from top-100 firms to sole practitioners. Chris currently serves on the US Department of Labor ERISA Advisory Council, Chaired a Working Group of the Council in 2005, Chair of the Georgia Society of CPA's Assurance Services Section, serves on the GSCPA Peer Review Executive Committee, a Report Acceptance Body, and the Audit Committee. He has Chaired the GSCPA Audit and Accounting Committee, the Peer Review Committee, and the Financial Institutions Committee.

Chris is a graduate of Florida State University. He has taught numerous audit and accounting training courses, including peer reviewer courses, and is a GSCPA Outstanding Discussion Leader. He is a frequent speaker on audit and accounting matters at state and national seminars.

Meg Hampton, CPA
Anglin Reichmann Armstrong, P.C.

Meg Hampton is a Manager in the Anglin Audit and Assurance Department. Meg attended the University of Alabama, where she earned a Master of Accountancy in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, graduating cum laude in 2008. Meg has over 11 years of experience in public accounting, providing audits, reviews, compilations, and preparations of financial statements to clients in various industries. In addition to these audit services, she supports clients through services in the Solutions department and economic impact studies. These studies allow clients to gain insight and predict the future impact of various business decisions. Meg is also involved in peer review services and is review captain qualified. Her industry focus includes government contracting, employee benefit plans, construction, and not-for-profit.

Meg serves as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Tennessee Valley and is a Volunteer Instructor with the Catalyst Center. She is also very involved in the training webinars that Anglin hosts throughout the year. Meg’s ability to share her knowledge thoughtfully and her approachable nature allow clients to navigate future business decisions confidently.

Michael E. Auerbach CPA
Chief Accountant, Employee Benefits Security Administration, U.S. Department of Labor

As the Chief Accountant, Employee Benefits Security Administration, Mr. Auerbach is responsible for managing the resources of the Office of the Chief Accountant and implementing various comprehensive, nationwide enforcement programs relating to certain provisions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). He also provides ERISA related accounting and auditing technical expertise within the Employee Benefits Security Administration and is the liaison with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and other professional organizations. Mr. Auerbach provides executive oversight and leadership for EBSA's fiduciary oversight program for the federal government's Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). The TSP is the largest defined contribution plan in the world, with assets in excess of $800 billion and 6.4million participants.

Mr. Auerbach is a certified public accountant and earned his B.S. in accounting from the University of Maryland.
