2020-2021 Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy Renewal Information

October 1 is fast-approaching, which means the renewal for your CPA, PA, NLO, and/or Firm license(s) will be due.

Since newly-updated CPE rules went into effect on October 1, 2019, the CPE-reporting process has slightly changed. Please note that the template provided for last year’s online CPE-reporting process is no longer valid, and you may need to make a few changes when using the new template provided during the online renewal process.

You may complete your renewal on or after October 1, 2020, by visiting the Registration page on the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy’s (ASBPA) website.

If you used our online registration process last year, you will log in this year using the same username and password.

If you did not create an account last year, you will need to set one up using your certificate/license number, the last four digits of your social security number, and your firm number if you are a Resident Manager. Your username and password will be used for our online processes going forward, so keep them in a safe place for access later.

NOTE: At this time, you may only create your account. You must log in again on or after October 1, 2020, to officially submit your FY 2020-2021 registration.

The ASBPA does not keep record of usernames and passwords, nor will any representative of the ASBPA ever ask for your login information.
