The Uniform CPA Examination will change beginning in January 2024. To help the Alabama CPA Exam Candidates transition, please carefully read the information below. *These timelines and dates are not finalized and cannot be relied upon as absolute, although the dates presented will be close enough for planning purposes. Once the dates are finalized, the Board will forward to all applicants.*

• If you pass all four sections of the CPA Exam by end of testing in 2023, these changes will not impact you.
• The last day of testing for the current exam sections (AUD, BEC, FAR, REG) will be December 15, 2023. From December 16, 2023, through January 9, 2024, no sections maybe scheduled to allow the conversion of the new system.
• Keep in mind, BEC will no longer be a test section at the beginning of 2024. Your fourth section will be a choice of BAR, ISC, or TCP. The last day for initial BEC applications and Notice to Schedules will be November 1, 2023. The last day for BEC reapplications and Notice to Schedules will be November 12, 2023.
• Starting November 1, 2023, the Board will begin taking discipline (BAR, ISC, TCP) applications.
• Reminder – Notices to Schedule expire within 6 months, except all BEC Notices to Schedule will expire on December 15, 2023, regardless of application date.
• Any candidate with the Uniform CP Examination credit(s) will have such credit(s) extended to June 30, 2025.

Starting, July 1, 2023, Prometric will no longer be accepting any form of expired IDs from our candidates. This decision has been made since the Department of Motor Vehicles and state offices, along with most global governmental offices, are all now open and operating under their standard guidelines.
